ally...too much!

想种一盆郁金香，但听说郁金香的花期很短。那就先在blog里养六条鱼，顺带把心情养起来。等到春节来临，到花市物色一棵我最爱的郁金香。只有在这个时候，我才相信一见钟情。

emergency stool 5…

设计emergency stool 5的目的据说是要超越功能性，以及质问家具的身份：物件，艺术，或是图像。Emergency stool是一件用激光切割过的面板（用波罗的海的白桦树做的夹板），每个部分彼此连接，平时可以组合成一幅抽象画挂在墙上作装饰，以作备用。板凳不够用的时候就可以把面板的每个部分拆卸下来，轻松组合成一张凳子。emergency stool 成功将灵活与幽默赋予现代家具设计。不过本人还是觉得之前看过的studio dror的Pick Chair更优雅好看一些。还有日本KEIJI DESIGN出品的 Flat Packing Chair也是用差不多的创作理念来设计椅子，但组装起来复杂很多，也没办法当作抽象画来作装饰。

The Emergency stool is a laser cut panel of Baltic Birch plywood where each part is connected to each other creating a panel that can be displayed an image on the wall prepared to be but into action for an emergency by simply breaking the panel into it’s individual parts. The laser etcher graphic provides international assembly instructions. 以上这款椅子是来自L.K. Hjelle的Break bench（破裂长椅），是为等候室设计的，一般的长椅设计往往在人与人之间设置隔墙，或者扶手，而Break bench一反常规地用一个缺口来取代间隔物，以空间破坏而不是空间阻隔来表达隐私关系。这再次说明了好的设计带给人们的是一份惊喜与意会，而不是硬生生的功能性的死物。
